Advocate flea for dogs
Advocate for Dogs prevents flea infestations as well as gastrointestinal worm infections. It stops reinfesting fleas in 3-5 minutes and kills them in 1 hour while also eliminating the larval flea stages in the dog's surroundings. It controls intestinal worms including roundworms, whipworms, and hookworms. It also protects dogs from new worm infestations and aids in the prevention of flea tapeworms. Advocate is a topical spot-on treatment that not only destroys multiple parasites, but also prevents heartworm infection in puppies and dogs. Furthermore, Advocate controls sarcoptic mange, Demodex mites, lice, and ear mites present in dogs. It stands as an only product that protects against the deadly oesophageal worm This monthly topical treatment is also water-resistant and the fastest flea control product.
It has to be applied monthly for best results.
Method of working:
Imidachoprid and Moxidectin are the active ingredients in Advocate. The ingredients in Advocate kill parasites by hindering their neurotransmissions. Central nervous system of the parasites is attacked, which results in the disruption of invertebrate nerve and muscle cells. This results in paralysis and ultimately destroys them. 98-100% fleas are killed within 12 hours of application. Advocate for dogs kills fleas on contact, so dogs don't suffer painful bites, reducing the incidence of Flea Allergy Dermatitis.
The spot-on not only kills adult worms but also kills larval and immature stages of roundworms and hookworms.
The treatment is effective for a month and halts the growth of fleas.
Advocate is safe for use on puppies from 7 weeks of age and any weight
Fast relief from fleas, heartworm, intestinal worms and many other parasites
Fast relief from fleas, heartworm, intestinal worms and many other parasites
Monthly application of Advocate helps protect your dog against a broad spectrum of parasites.
An easy-to-use spot-on, Advocate is applied monthly to both help rid your dog of existing parasites and provide ongoing protection. The powerful ingredients in Advocate provide fast relief from fleas, prevent deadly heartworm and help protect your dog and your family from most intestinal worms including roundworms, hookworms and whipworm.
Stop fleas in their tracks
The active ingredient effective against fleas, imidacloprid, spreads across your dog's skin and coat within 12 hours. After this time, re-infesting fleas are affected within 3-5 minutes of contact with your dog, and killed within 1 hour. Unlike chewable tablets, the active ingredient is not absorbed into your dog's bloodstream, so fleas are killed on contact without the need for a blood meal. As your dog naturally sheds their skin and fur, tiny imidacloprid crystals are also shed into the environment, killing flea larvae, and breaking the flea lifecycle.

Comprehensive heartworm and intestinal worm protection
Comprehensive protection from intestinal worms
Most wormers only kill adult worms in the intestines at the time of treatment, but this doesn't solve the problem. Larvae migrate through your dog's body causing damage, and along with the immature adults, soon mature into adults, not only causing harm to your dog, but also leading to environmental contamination from egg shedding before the next treatment. This puts you and your family at risk too!
Advocate not only kills adult roundworms and hookworms, but also immature adult and larval stages of these worms, breaking the lifecycle. What's more, Advocate kills all species of important intestinal nematode worms found in Australian dogs, unlike many other products, providing comprehensive protection from these worms.
Advocate prevents re-infection between doses
Between treatments with many products, dogs can be re-infected with heartworms and intestinal worms. With regular monthly use, Advocate reaches a steady state, providing continuous protection from heartworm and intestinal worms between doses. Only topically applied moxidectin in Advocate has this unique feature, giving you peace of mind your dog is fully protected against these parasites.
How to Apply?
Before applying Advocate, make sure your dog is standing during treatment. Remove your dog's collar, and put it back on after the product is dry - except if your dog is wearing a Seresto collar. You don't need to remove it when applying Advocate.
Avoid applying the treatment near the eyes or mouth area as this may cause irritation. Bathe your dog before application, and apply Advocate when your dog is completely dry.
Record the treatment date, and repeat monthly.
Directions for use
Remove the required tubes from the packet. Hold the tube upright and away from you, and pull off the cap.
