Fleas and ticks are the worst enemies of dog. To protect your dog from the harmful effects of flea and tick infestation, Frontline Plus for dogs is the ultimate prevention treatment. This fast-acting topical treatment kills adult fleas within 12 hours of application and ticks within 48 hours of application. The long-lasting effect makes it work for the whole month against flea and brown dog tick attack, and for up to two weeks against paralysis ticks. Being waterproof, Frontline Plus is effective even if dogs have a bath or go for a swim.
Frontline Plus is suitable for puppies 8 weeks of age and above.
How does it work?
Frontline Plus is a monthly topical treatment for fleas and ticks on dogs. It contains two main ingredients – fipronil and (s)-methoprene. Both the ingredients protect dogs from harmful flea infestation.
Fipronil directly attacks adult fleas and kill them for the whole month. This key ingredient gets collected on the hair follicles and oils of the skin, and it is continuously released from the hair follicles onto the skin and coat.
The other active ingredient (S)-methoprene is an insect-growth regulator. It disturbs the life cycle of fleas and ticks, and prevents re-infestation. Acting as insect-growth regulator, it inhibits growth of flea eggs or flea larvae and stops developing them into adult fleas. Thus, kills all life stages of fleas. It further protects canines from future infestation.
Safe for all breeds of dogs, Frontline Plus is effective for lactating and pregnant bitches also.
